Marcela Römer (Argentina, Rosario, 1965)
Has a degree in Arts, and a Masters in Latin American Art, both received in her native Argentina.
She writes theoretical as well as journalistic articles in different media, graphic and online, as for example A Desk (Spain, Barcelona), Arte Al día (Argentina, Buenos Aires) and Wynwood the Art Magazine (USA, Miami).
Marcela Römer is a curator and researcher in contemporary art, she have been art dealer free lance. She has participated as adviser and art dealer in international events in Argentina, the UK, Switzerland, China, the US, and other countries.
She has also dedicated herself to cultural management at institutional levels, and at private events.
For many years she has been curator and adviser in Hardcore Art Contemporary Space, and director of Arts Connection Foundation in Miami, US.
For many years she has been Director of Biblioteca Popular “Alfonsina Storni” library, Rosario, Argentina.
Now she is the Director of Castagnino+Macro Museum in Rosario, Argentina. Will be in the International Board of Cimam/Icom 2014-2016.
